Best start to mum's day!

There is nothing better than getting an email first thing in the morning, from someone half-way across the world, just to tell you how wonderful your child is!  I am so grateful for those that take the time to write and share their love of our missionary!

Hello Rushing Family all the way from Australia.

My name is Sister Miro Pehi and I am in Belconnen Ward, Canberra, Australia.

I want to say "Thank You" for your beautiful daughter Sister Rushing. We love her here in Belconnen Ward, we couldn't imagine not seeing her smile first thing Sunday morning when we step into the chapel :)

I have on many occasions been teaching with her and Sister Holtz and love them dearly. Because Sister Rushing and her trainer opened up an area it was a little difficult at times, and having experienced that myself on my mission I wanted to help them out as much as I could by driving them anywhere they wanted to go and to help teach investigators and less active members as often as I could. Their area has flourished in leaps and bounds, my wards love for the missionaries have grown tremendously from when I first moved here in February this year and our ward members are talking about missionary work, taking responsibility for sharing the gospel and not leaving it to just the missionaries. Why? because we have fantastic Sister missionaries like Sister Rushing that gets in there and works hard, build relationships of trust with the members, investigator and everyone else. She truly is an example of being Christlike.

I have the privilege to spend Christmas day with them this year, and we have to share them with the rest of the ward too, because we all love them so much, so Christmas day might be a very busy day for them as well as talking to their families too.

Sister Rushing has a strong testimony about "Our Saviour" and she shares that love with everyone that she meets. We love her, appreciate her and care for her very much.

Thank you once again for sharing your wonderful daughter with us here in Australia.

Regards Miro Pehi.
